PokerOS

Player Privacy

Last updated 29 August 2026

What PokerOS knows about you, who can see it, and how to get it changed or removed. Short, because we hold very little.

01The club is in charge of your data

PokerOS stores it; the club you played at decides what happens to it. In data-protection terms the club is the controller and we are the processor. In practice: to have your data at a club removed, ask that club. When they ask us, we do it.

02What we hold

Your phone number and a hashed PIN. Together, that is your account. Anything else you chose to add: name, country, date of birth, email, profile photo. Only the phone number is required. What happened at the tables: which events you entered, where you sat, how you finished, what you won. Photos a club added to your player record, at clubs that use that feature.

03Why the date of birth

Poker has an age floor and a club has to be able to answer for who it let in. We store the date and nothing else. No document, no photo of one, no scan. You can leave it blank; a club may then ask you at the door instead.

04What we never collect

No card numbers — if you pay a buy-in, you pay the club, not us. No identity documents. No location beyond the country you pick yourself. No advertising identifiers and no trackers that follow you off PokerOS. We do not sell data, and there is no arrangement under which we could.

05Who sees it

The club you played at, and its staff. That is what makes the desk able to find you. Other clubs do not see your history with a club you did not play at. Our suppliers see only what they need: Neon holds the database in Singapore, Vercel runs the application, and an email provider sends the mail. Each is contractually bound to act only on our instructions.

06How long

While your account is in use. Ask us to delete it and we will. A club may keep its own record of games you actually played — the same record it would have kept on paper — for its accounting.

07What you can do

See and change your name, country, date of birth and email in your profile, at any time. Ask for a copy of everything we hold, or ask us to delete it: legal@pokeros.app. We answer within 30 days, and if we cannot do what you ask we will say why.

08Security, cookies, complaints

Your PIN is hashed and never stored in a readable form. Sessions are signed and expire. Traffic is encrypted. Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no banner asking you to accept any. If something goes wrong and we cannot put it right, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
